Le Crimp or Crumpling

Thanks to Christine for introducing Vincent Floderer and his “crimp”. I’m simply fascinated by his folding techniques that brought Issey Miyake to mind.

Crumpling or crimping is a sophisticated technique employing large uncut sheets of paper that are precisely patterned and creased. The numerous amounts of fold would result in beautiful volumes with elastic qualities.
