Leanne Marshall‘s Spring/Summer 2010 collection was a whimsical translation of the Basic Math typeface by White Label and tinged with the spirit of the Make Luck graphic image. First she created cutouts of each letter of the typeface on fabric, later draping, pleating and folding them into wearable shapes for the collection. The results were an incredible mix of origami-esque, structured folds and organic drapes for her blouses, skirts, shorts and dresses that scream ‘It’s Spring Time!’.
Check out the runway and interview videos, her typeface inspirations, and her collection after this jump.
