Once in a blue moon, I like to showcase some apparel designers who are not pleat-centric, but worthy of a little praise and exposure. Katie Gallagher emerged from Rhode Island School of Design with a strong portfolio and a new collection to boot, enough to wow the judges at this year’s fashion week. The collection has a blend of sculpted garments mixed with stretched fabrics – structural jackets and dresses mixed with sheer leggings – all of these I would wear in a jiff! Definitely looking forward to her upcoming Fall collection.
