Henry Cheung of Los Angeles-based nonprofit research center, Materials and Applications, graciously provided these images of the recent Fat Fringe paper installation at The Fix gallery. The floating paper canopy was built from numerous paper constructions resulted from slicing, punching and folding sheets of paper. Fat Fringe was produced by design office Layer and Materials and Applications, and built with the help of volunteers. The exhibition is on display until April 8.
